SDL Studio 2014/5 error when opening a XML file as a single document and even in the project creation

Question

Hi,

We have received a XML file from client, which is a WordPress export for client's website.

The XML declaration is:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" ?>

When we try to add this file to a new project (in the project creation wizard), Studio generates an error which indicates:

Here is a sample of the XML file which contains CDATA tags:

Can you please advise how can we fix the issue?

We need your help ASAP

Hi Yael, 
 In your original error message I do not see "XML: Any XML". I'm not sure why it is missing, but if you go to File > Options > File Types and hit "Reset to Defaults" perhaps it will reappear? 
 
 Or perhaps you use a template that doesn't contain this file type? 
 Either way, you need "XML: Any XML" to process the file.

 In your screenshot the "ETX": 
 
 That is an illegal XML character. I recommend just deleting it.
