Studio 2015 crashing every time I try to add a term

I am quite a beginner user of Trados and up until today it has been working perfectly for me.
So here is a description of the problem I have: My computer is a Windows 10 computer. I opened Trados, it did an update check and today there was an update. During that update, my computer suddenly restarted after updating Acrobat Adobe Reader. After the computer restarted, I reopened Trados and since then it has been crashing every single time I try to add a new term in the Termbase. It also does not recognise any previously added terms. It does not give me an error message, but just a spinning wheel like it was thinking too long and then the spinning wheel disappears and it crashes. I first thought it had something to do with the Adobe update as it all started after that and before that it was working fine. But when I uninstalled Adobe, it still crashed. I tried turning off the Microsoft Defender, that didn't help (I do not have any other anti-virus programs). I also tried uninstalling Trados and then reinstalling it, and it still crashes every time I try to add a new term (it also updated itself after reinstalling).
