How do I get rid of the "Termbase Viewer" window?

Is there a way in Studio 2017 to just disable this pesky window or do I have to tuck it away somewhere so it's least obtrusive? It's just a pain in the neck that it opens and blocks my view of some other (far more useful window) every single time I add a new word. I do my work on a 14" laptop so I don't have much screen space to work with.

  • Hello Hadi,

Yes you are right (maybe only some people asking for that since 2011 though... at least I never hear this?). For me the solution is to move the window into the same group as the term recognition perhaps and then at least it won't come flying in and out even if it does get the focus. You can remove it altogether but it's a very persistent function and comes back every time you add a new term!

The purpose is to give you the chance to edit the term, but this does seem pointless if you are using the Quick Add New term feature as you don't wish to edit it and are looking for speed.

I'll bring this thread to the attention of the development team, if they have not already seen it, and perhaps they can enable the option to switch it off in a future version.

    Regards
