Dear Community,
I have a question about the numbers. I have a file at hand now that has many number in the content. But I just like to focus on language more than numbers so I used the " Excluding number only " filter in the review tab. But it did not worked proper for all of the numerical content in the file.
It worked well for the numbers with comma like "5,8 or 9,4157...etc" but unfortunately has no use for the ones with dot like "1.2.4.3 or only separated ones with dash 140 - 104" as I show them in the image below.
Likewise I had many problems dealing with balance sheets and tables with numbers or statistical reports with many numbers inside. The numbers with dash, minus or plus sign and parenthesis are not included in that filter.
In brief, I just like to ignore / hide any numbers number with comma, dot, dash, minus or plus sign and parenthesis which does not need any translation in any language pair unexceptionally as they do not have any language related content whatsoever...
The variety of the numerical content that I want to apply a filter to hide them all:
57.2569
65,456
56,236.12
96.4598,23
(-)
(2,934,798,478)
4 - 9
- 8,78
+ 569
(9658)
(+856941)
.236
So what should I do to blind to see them all?
I also tried to enter the following string in the Display Filter and hit enter:
^\(*[\d,]+\)*$
It did not work and it gave me the same result with the inbuilt filter in SDL Trados 2017.
I hope there will be a string in the Display Filter that covers all of them :)) I think a regex string can solve this problem ?
Thank you so much!
Happy Christmas and New Year for all!
