Translation memories empty

Question

Hello 
 
 I have trados 2016 freelance. I have made my first translation. I've created several translation memories but in the end there is nothing to see as for the program to be feed or update. 
 
 Any suggestions on how can I make proper translation memories that actually have some content on them?

Hello Andres, 
make sure you add/create a main TM and tick Update option. To update a TM segments need to be confirmed (for default settings) - then you can run Batch task - Update Main translation memories. Also confirming segment should save your translation into TM, if correctly set - ie. when returning to previous segment you should see a Context/100% match.

 Yes, in addition to Ladislav's suggestions, I recommend my blog post, SDL Trados Studio TM isn&rsquo;t updating! My translation memory is empty!
