UTF-8 encoding recognition for HTML files in SDL Trados Studio?

Hi there,

I am wondering whether there is a way to tell SDL Trados Studio about the encoding of an HTML file that does not have any unique UTF-8 encoding identifier,
like:
1. Byte Order Mark header "ï»¿"
2. <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8" />
3. <meta charset="utf-8" />
Do I need to edit each HTML file to add one of these identifiers, or is there another way to tell Studio about the correct encoding of the HTML file?

In SDLX, there used to be a way to set the source encoding, independently of any file-type scanning stage.

Hi Frank, 
 I think there is only a way to do this if you use the single document approach, like this: 
 
 I know there is an item of work in the backlog to deal with this for complete projects. Until then you need to to things manually... although this application might be useful for you:

 I placed it in my dropbox account as closed his site down. I'm not sure if he wants us to host this in the appstore for him, but this is a very useful tool indeed.
