Serbian (Latin, Serbia and Montenegro (Former)) missing in Studio 2015 (windows 10)?

Hi,

The language variant Serbian (Latin, Serbia and Montenegro (Former)) seems to have disappeared from Studio. The language variant does, however, seem to be mentioned in the supported languages list (http://producthelp.sdl.com/SDL_TRADOS_STUDIO_2015/CLIENT_EN/introducing/inintroducingsdltradosstudiosupportedlanguages.htm).

Does this depend on OS or .NET version?

Lennart

  • Dear Guillaume,

    Thank you for replying.

You are correct that the two languages separate are supported, but there used to be a single language variant "Serbia (Serbia and Montenegro (Former))" with language code "sr-Latn-CS". I believe this has been split up to two sublanguages sr-Latn-RS and sr-Latn-ME somewhere along the way, but the 2015 documentation still lists the language variant "Serbia (Serbia and Montenegro (Former))" as a supported language variant. This is of course not a big issue, but should simply be corrected in the documentation.

I noticed this because we originally built a TM for a client with the former combined target language variant, which no longer exists. I migrated everything to Serbian (Latin, Serbia), so it's just a documentation issue I guess...
