Aligning documents stops halfway though - but workaround app not valid for Studio 2017

Question

Hi, I'm running alignment on a large file and it stops halfway through. I suspect it is due to the sheer size of the file. I see that the workaround is to split into several SDLXLIFF files and then merge them together. However, the app to do this does not apply to Studio 2017. Could anyone advise whether I can still use this app, or if there is any other solution to my alignment problem?

Hi Laura, 
 
If you are aligning files then you are not working with sdlxliff files. So you would have to split the source files you are aligning if they are are the cause of your problem. The split and merge app is not yet available for 2017, but it would not help your case anyway. 
 
How large are these files and what format are they?
