When I open a file for a translation, I receive this error message: Key already exists Nome parametro: key. What does this means? Indeed the only function not working after I start translating is the preview, but this is subject of another following question, because I am still struggling against more and more problems in displaying it. Can you provide a copy of the error stack? Just save the error to your desktop by clicking on this icon:

Hi, the error still appears everytime a file is opened for translation. In addition to that I also see an error when trying to see which files are in a project accessing through the context menu: "No reference to this project is known". Then I go directly to the File window and I can see and open the files for translation. Have any input to give me? Thank you very mcuh for your help

Do you have any AppStore apps installed? If you do can you remove them and run Studio again? Easiest way to do this for a test is just rename this folder:

c:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Roaming\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\14\Plugins\

So maybe call it this at the end:

................ Roaming\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\14\Plugins_original

Restart Studio and no plugins will be loaded. If it doesn't help just delete this one which has been recreated:

c:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Roaming\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\14\Plugins\

Then rename the Plugins_original as Plugins again.

Thanks Paul, I did so: Now I don't see anymore the errore message "No reference to this project is known". but the other message still persists after opening a file for translation; now it is not clear how to go on according to your suggestions:
"If it doesn't help just delete this one which has been recreated:
c:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Roaming\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\14\Plugins\
Then rename the Plugins_original as Plugins again."

What do you mean by "...delete this one which has been recreated:
c:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Roaming\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\14\Plugins\"
You mean I shall just rename"_original" turning it to its original name? (Indeed the inside folders Packages and Unpackaged are empty). Or shall I delete the new folder "Plugins_original" and replace it with a folder "Plugins" Thanks a lot.
