Once you have downloaded the app - this needs to be enabled.

Go to FILE.>OPTIONS> File Types as follows

Then close and reopen Studio.

Now you should be able to create a new project using the STL file type.

I did not get the message 'Additional installed file types exist'. Rather the file types seemed to have been added automatically.

But they don't work. I already ask the client to send a srt file instead, but it also does not work.

You mention "once you have downloaded the app..." What app are you talking about? I am not able to open the STF file and do not see the enabling option.

Hello, I wonder if this thread  is still active or if it is better to start a new one.

I have stl files from a client. I installed both plugin for STL and Studio Subtitling, I can attach a snapshot in case of need. I restarted Studio after (three times) and the formats appear on the list of type of files. But Studio asks for a translatable file.
