If Check CPS isn't selected, none of the other selected criteria will be verified when pressing F8.
However, the interface doesn't gray the other criteria out when Check CPS is unselected, which is misleading.
I can reproduce this, in the main verification options too. The subtitling datagrid reports the errors as you work visually, so you have a solution as you work. In the meantime we'll get that fixed and release an update.
