As we are into the new year, we would like to advise that this is the last year of support for MultiTrans 2017 (with version numbers 6.0.x), which will reach end of life on December 31 2020. If you are using this version, no immediate action is required. However, you should plan your upgrade to our latest version during 2020.
New features and custom developments are always built, and issues resolved, on the latest version of MultiTrans. For this reason, all upgrades should be to the latest release, which – since MultiTrans 2017 – will be cumulative along with all upgrades and patches.
It is important to note that MultiTrans 2017 only supports TLS1.0 which is now viewed as a security weakness. MultiTrans 2019 and later support industry-standard TLS 1.2.
If you do not have any customizations in MultiTrans, you can upgrade at your earliest convenience. If you have custom Project Creation Forms (PCFs), connectors or other, please speak to your account manager or contact the MultiTrans Technical Support Team as soon as possible to plan your upgrade.
MultiTrans 7 includes a variety of new features and a heavy focus on issue correction. Increase connectivity with your vendors thanks to the integration with SDL Trados Studio and improve project tracking and security with the SDL MultiTrans Mobile app, which allows on-the-go client and provider project tracking as well as two-factor authentication. Enjoy across-the-board usability enhancements and gain greater peace of mind with the enhanced full auditing of user and profile information. And, of course, stay tuned for upcoming product announcements, including the release of MultiTrans 8!
