Hello Donatella,
It seems the open tag for superscript is <superscript>1 and closes with </superscript>2
If there are more words or characters with superscript in the same segment then the number at the end of the tag will increase incrementally.
You can also view this link for additional information of superscript :
https://www.webnots.com/alt-code-shortcuts-for-superscript-and-subscript/#:~:text=Using%20in%20Windows%20Documents&text=For%20example%2C%20alt%20%2B%208308%20will,make%20superscript%20two%20like%20%C2%B2
I hope this helps answer your question ?
Kind regards
Trent
Hi Trent
I have tried to add the tags, but since they don't appear in the German original text, they don't count as tag (they are in black, not in blue).
Any idea on how to add additional tags in the target language?
Thank you, Donatella
Hi Donatella,
Just for the benefit of anyone else who may see this, there is a feature request for the ability to apply superscript/subscript formatting in the XLIFF Editor. Anyone interested in this should go and vote for it:
In the meantime, if the superscript/subscript formatting has not been applied in the source segment, you cannot apply it to the target segment. This also applies to other formatting such as font colour, styles, typefaces etc - these will sometimes have a corresponding set of <format> tags in the source you can copy over to the target. The only formatting that can be applied directly from the XLIFF Editor without it being present in the source segment is bold, italics and underlined.
Hope this helps!
Tom
