Symptoms: 
All jobs that use the sdlftsettings custom file type for processing the ‘DOCX 2007-2016' file types go into recovery.

Explanation: 

The issue was caused by a breaking change that was introduced in the ‘Microsoft™ Word 2007-2016’ filter, specifically, a namespace was modified. This change would then trigger a serialization exception when working with this sdlftsettings file.

Resolution:

The issue was fixed by updating the ‘Microsoft Word 2007-2016’ filter to a newer version.

SDL-hosted customers should contact SDL Support to arrange for this hotfix to be deployed.
