What is the working language of the publication file? Source or target language?
If Working language is the source language, it cannot be modified. creates target language publication.
But even without Publication, if you know the GUID and Version you want to correct, you can correct it in your web client.
You must be in the Translator's Role group to make the correct.
Be careful not to break the structure of the XML.
Satoru Thank you. I was able to Download and Upload the changes to the target language and successfully output a final document.
In Pub. Manager, you can search for a translated object by GUID and language, but this can be very tedious if you need to perform many edits to different parts of a publication.
We use Oxygen as our XML editor now, and found that its DITA Maps Manager tool is great for opening a target-language version of a whole publication, and being able to quickly navigate/check out/edit any parts.
