In a file system setting using Oxygen XML Editor, it appears that DITA is "OK" with XInclude XML fragment references. 

Obviously, conrefs would be the best practice. But in our business we sometimes work with third-party supplied content, which in this case uses XInclude (xmlns:xi). My guess is that this is an artifact of a legacy migration from a non-DITA structure to DITA (or another non-DITA structure and then DITA). 

Will these XIncludes work in Tridion Docs? We are using Tridion Docs 14 SP3. I guess the core question is, will check-out and export for publication include the XInclude target objects in the exports?
