We experienced a similar issue when we upgrade our TDX from 13 to 14. At that time, the issue was resolved by cleaning up the local storage of TDX.

Thanks a lot for your reply. Cleaning up the local storage is a good idea, but I am afraid it is not a relevant solution in my situation. I do this every time I start the editor, but I still have the "WorkAreaForm" error from time to time.

My problem is that I do not know where the error message comes from. Is it an Oxygen message or a Tridion Docs message? Also, like many other error messages, it doesn't really offer any information that I can use for troubleshooting. I don't know what a "WorkAreaForm" is!

Thank you Alex, I have seen that post too. I have tried to increase the timeout values, but the problem is still coming back. I see it only from time to time, though, so it may indeed be related to a bad network.
