What video file types can be stored in Tridion Docs?

What video file types are supported in Tridion Docs and what Content Type folder would they be stored in?

  • Hi Ann,

    You can submit them under the "Other" (so card type CTTEMPLATE) folder type. However, be aware that you should not upload 100s of MB, but small videos should be fine. If it it really is about a lot of large videos, in all kinds of qualities, bitrates and dimensions; you should consider a more dedicated DAMS like solution.

    Regarding extensions/mimetypes, in Tridion Docs that is known as Electronic Document Types, or in short EDT. Below a list a I generated using "Find-IShEDT" cmdlet. You can add more EDTs to the system if requried.
