What I want would be something like your first example: the background color of the whole segment (source and target) changes to light blue (or other color) when a filter is applied. The background color turns to normal when we clear the filter. This should be a feature included in Advanced Display Filter.

there is no differencies at all between Source and Target in this regard.

so, which one is you wanted...?

@Adam Warren: This Highlight function is not exactly what I wanted, because it highlights only the target segments. If there are untranslated segments in the file, they do not become highlighted. And the colors are all too dark (except Light Gray, of course). The function as it is now is very helpful indeed, but it could be improved by highlighting the whole text in Editor View and in lighter colors, such as the light yellow color we see when we use the "select all" function.
