  • I don't think going back is appropriate as this was changed because of a bug.  This feature is supposed to show overall progress through a file and not just the wordcount.  Perhaps your idea would be better if it suggested adding the ability to select words or segments?

    To be fair you can already see this in the same view so I'm not sure we even need to change this.  For the small bar it's essential to show proper progress through the file, especially in large projects as you can see at a glance if anything is missing.
