Collection was modified; enumeration operation may not execute

Hello,

We are a LSP and we work with Groupshare and Studio 2015.

One of our new PM has this message when she tries to create a project :

  • Collection was modified; enumeration operation may not execute.

It is said here that this problem no longer occurs in SDL Trados Studio 2015 :

kb.sdl.com/.../

 97

However, in her case, the message appears at the end of the project creation process whe she clics finish at this stage:

Do you know why she has this problem and also, why is she the only one in the team?

Thank you for your help,

Valérie

  • Hi Valerie,

The problem appears to be related to the Termbase settings.
Does this PM use a their own template when creating the project?
Are they clicking "Next" to show each screen or just skipping the screens and clicking "Finish" right away?

I recommend trying out the following:
    1. Ensure they do not skip the Termbase settings screen. Remove all Termbases if there are any and re-add them.
    2. If step 1 does not work, try removing all Termbases and create the project. Once the project is created, the PM can then add the necessary Termbases.

  • Hi Jesse,

Thank you very much, it was MultiTerm. I deactivated MultiTerm desktop and the widget and now it's working fine! We had an other problem with MultiTerm Widget last week, do yo know why it creates error messages like this one?
    Thank you for your help.

  • Hi Valerie,

When you say "deactivate", do you mean "uninstall"?
    Are you using server-based termbases?

Also, the error message in your screenshot shows the error occurring on the termbase settings page and not at the end after you click finish:

    * Note how you can see the termbase settings page in the background in the above screenshot.

To get to the bottom of the error, it would be helpful to know the exact steps the person uses to produce the error.
