GroupShare malfunction

Hi,

Working for RWS (SDL office), sometimes, my Studio is unable to connect to GS, not allowing me to access the project TMs.

This has become a serious problem, as most projects for my field, Life Sciences. require the use of GS.

I run Studio through Parallels on a Microsoft Windows 10 Pro (10.0.19044 Build 19044) virtual machine.

Although this has been pointed out as a possible reason for GS not working as it should, almost no user of a Mac for translators group on Facebook has encountered this problem.

I thank in advance any help that can be provided, as I need to solve this to continue to work for RWS.

  • When you say " Studio is unable to connect to GS", what do you mean exactly? We need more information on what is happening when you try to connect?
    Did you define the entry for the server? 
    What happens when you click on 'Check Server availability"?
