Could you please let me know more details bout the issue you're facing?
What Studio version and plugin version you're using?
When do you experience the issue exactly?
Can you post a screenshot of the full error message? Save the error and add it in the Insert option.

Hi Oana,
I'm using Trados Studio 2022 and the error comes every time I try to pre translate a project using DeepL. As soon as I double click on the DeepL plug in to add the pretransaltion (as I have always done) it does not work, it seems like it can't read the combination language.
here I send the error message that appears.

Please remove the plugin from all these paths:

Also, make sure you don't have the plugin added to a project template, added by default at global settings for all languages:
or at specific language pair level:
Install again the DeepL provider app from the integrated appstore within Studio interface
Try creating a project from scratch and add DeepL during project creation. Also, try with single file project ( using drag and drop function) and see the results change.
I tested various scenarios but it works for me in all these cases.
I’d greatly appreciate hearing your feedback once you’ve tried this.

I have a similar issue with Deepl plugin but there is no error message. Is simply not pretranslating anything. I tried with the pack, with a clean pack, only Studio and xliff files .. I reinstalled the plugin, after I follow the provided indications up here about cleaning the folder plugin files and reinstall it-
I also create a project from zero with one file and then add the plugin.
When adding RWS cloud plugin it worked fine and pretranslated all segments as usual.
Why this is happening?
SDL 2022, plugin updated.
I just tried with a simple docx file and it did not pretranslate any segment.
I suppose that the result would be the same with an xliff or sdlxliff file .
Would Panda antivirus block the plugin? NO advise of that, just an IA warning.
There are some other recent entries with same issue (with different versions)
As someone says that it didnt work with some language combinations, I tried wth another one.
Combination used so far was always EN US ES international sort, no segment pretranslation.
I created a project from FR FR ES international and it worked fine, all segments are pretranslated.
This is an urgent assignment, any explanation would be great.
I will try now to generate a new API key

Deepl page says they dont support this plugin as it is from RWS.
But I am paying Deepl and I can not use it.

Using Studio 2022 Professional, I just set up a project en-US to es-ES, as you describe, using DeepL. Everything is working as expected. I just updated to the newest plugin version 6.2.3.1
I am not saying there is no problem, there obviously is for you, but there does not seem to be a general issue with this plugin or with Studio 2022.

we have the same plug in but the langauge pair does not appear when enetring the API Key. It seems like the plug in can't read the combination languagage and that error continues to appear.

I am happy to know that it is working at your computer. Here is working with another source languages so it seems to be a very peculiar issue. Let me note that there are several threads claiming this Deepl plugin is not working, several in the last weeks, and there is one with English as source language too.
I have the plugin last version, and reinstalled it like three times. The only thing I did not is reinstalling Studio, something that one user said it did not resolve the issue.
