Trados Studio 2022: "You do not have the appropriate permissions to create cloud projects"

I have Trados Studio 2022, and am able to access my cloud account.

I want to save a local project to the cloud but get this message: "You do not have the appropriate permissions to create cloud projects". What can I do?

  • Hi Oana,

Thank you for reacting to my call for help so quickly! :-)

I confirm that I am using Studio with the same account as I am using both here and when accessing my cloud account. I access the latter by clicking on the green box with my name in the top right-hand corner of Studio and then clicking on 'Trados Studio Freelance Cloud Capabilities'.When cloud opens, I can see the green bar at the top of the screen with 'Dashboard', 'Resources', 'Users', and 'Terminology'. I have also been able to create a new termbase in the cloud account.

However, I do not see the 'Customers' menu - although I can see (in the 'Resources' menu) that there are 3 customers (these were, as far as I can remember, created some time ago - most likely using Studio 2021).

I hope the extra information provided above helps to locate the source of the problem.

    Regards,

    Michael
