Doesn't the pretty print feature in notepad do the same thing?

Problem is that such pretty-printed SDLXLIFF can't be read back into Studio. At least that was the case when I (repeatedly) tried that a couple of years ago.
It looks like something in Studio relies on actual physical position of characters inside the XML structure rather than on the XML structure itself.
I don't really remember details, but I think it was something in the header, not really in the translatable content itself. The header simply had to be left intact, otherwise Studio said there is something wrong with the SDLXLIFF.
Actually, looking at the screenshots, a proper pretty-print does a much better job than this... just look at the indentation - it's not properly un-indented (line 101, 108 and others).

This is true... I always take a copy to "pretty print" when I just want to look through an SDXLIFF.

actully I am using this one like this.
"Double click a sdlxliff" that you want. That's it.
It shows you full colored result instantly - no "Select a file bulah bulah...." window.
-I have "linked" sdlxliff extension to my codes - nice.....very nice..
That's exactly how it works here... I just press F3 or F4 - depending on whether I want to only view or edit - on SDLXLIFF (or other XML-based format) and it displays fully colored result instantly ;-)
The fact that you don't know that it can be done without your creations doesn't mean that it really can't be done ;-)
Your problem is that you constantly feel some weird urge to show off how good you are - or at least how good you THINK you are - (at programming things hardly usable for anyone else than you), but your creations are unfortunately in most cases rather amusing than anything else...
Only from time to time you have some bright moment and bring something actually useful.
(And now I'm looking forward to the downvote from you for saying the unpleasant truth...;-) )
Just in case:
Notepad++ > Plugins menu > XML Tools > Pretty print
