  • Problem is that such pretty-printed SDLXLIFF can't be read back into Studio. At least that was the case when I (repeatedly) tried that a couple of years ago.
    It looks like something in Studio relies on actual physical position of characters inside the XML structure rather than on the XML structure itself.
    I don't really remember details, but I think it was something in the header, not really in the translatable content itself. The header simply had to be left intact, otherwise Studio said there is something wrong with the SDLXLIFF.
