I had a little play with it and can't get it to work.  Or rather, when I thought it wasn't working and started doing something else an excel spreadsheet suddenly popped up but it didn't contain what I expected.

I think the problem is the test files I used were too large and complex and the approach generates a lot of data.  Take a look if you're interested?

If you write down what you wanted more specifically, that shuold be much better.

currently, I am not sure what you want to accomplish.

I just wanted to be able to filter on one colour... and generally play around with the file based on the results that would be returned in the excel you create.

quick answer : mine are some sort of "specific/special" solution, not General or Full scale at all.

I'll check it out your two files with time, just because it looks llike so funny !! (as I wrote semewhere else here, that is all and that is all I wanted to solve- I mean simple one)

-this one is... quite, quite slow (90secs)  "shading_simplecolumns.xlsx"... But, works fine..
