I get this error that I managed to screen-grab from a tooltip. Not sure if it is caused by my resources, or by the cloud server side. Either way, cant' use the language cloud.

This is a bug that has already been raised (reference CRQ-8256) and affects users (2017/2019) translating .ttx files in Language Cloud.
The only workaround in this case is to translate the original source file instead of the .ttx file

But when I create a Studio project from a TTX file, it is converted to SDLXLIFF isn't it? Why should the TTX being the source matter at all?
Why should the TTX being the source matter at all?
Because the SDLXLIFF also contains the skeleton for the TTX and something in there seem to have caused a problem for the translation via Language Cloud.

I see, so the skeleton in the SDLXLIFF cupboard causes the problem. ;-) Not mission critical to me, but I just thought I could use the SDL Cloud MT matches as an autosuggest source, but alas, I can't. Good to know it works in other cases.
