Unable to login in to SDL MT Cloud after installing plug-in (SDL Trados Freelance 2017)

Dear Community,

I cannot get the SDL Machine Translation Cloud to work. I installed the NMT plug-in but when getting to the authentication window, I only have the choice between "user authentication" and "client authentication" (not the options described on https://community.sdl.com) and when I type in my SDL Trados login information, I get this error message below. Do you know what I can do to make it work?

The specified file is not found.'

It is free, right? I am quoting: "Translators using Trados Studio can now take advantage of RWS's machine translation capabilities with neural language pairs for free (...)". I have a SDL Trados Freelance subscription (2017).

    Thank you very much for your advice. 

    I executed the update and then reinstalled the plug-in. Unfortunately, it still doesn't work but the error message has changed (see below). You wouldn't have an other idea how to solve this by any chance? (First message: I do not have any internet connexion problems; however, I can no longer connect to my SDL Trados Studio account when I am in the application. When I click on the green "Connect" button, nothing happens; second message: It says something like: The index is outside of the limits of the table.)
