We have a problem with the authorizations of external translators regarding MultiTerm databases. These users receive the error message:"You do not have the necessary permissions..."
Could it be that it affects termbases that have been added after a project was published on groupshare?

Before we can answer this properly, we would need to know which version of GroupShare your company is using.
As a short answer, if you are using GS pre 2017- then I believe all permissions need to be updated (first) in the Multiterm Administrator console- assigned users! before GS can handle these, even if the user is already assigned in GS.
However I am told, if your company is using GS-2017- then permissions are granted on a project by project basis and are not carried over from one project to another automatically, which requires you to add the the assigned translators to each project.
It should not matter (benefits of GS) if extra resources have been added after the project is published- as long as all the translators have been assigned correctly.
