Termbase created using an older version of MultiTerm cannot be opened

Dear Support Team,

I have a termbase that I created a couple of years ago, most probably with MultiTerm 2015. Now I am using MultiTerm 2017 and I can no longer acces/open it, nor can I convert it to the new format.

Could you please let me know what to do in order to be able to continue using it? Also, it is quite a pity that (apparently) new software versions completely annihilate the previous ones and their output, but maybe there is a reason behind this obsolescence, so to call it.
