MultiTerm Widget crashes

Every time I try to look up a term in the MultiTerm Widget it crashes. No error message, no stacktrace, it just silently disappears.

This is the version, downloaded last week:

About SDL MultiTerm Widget window showing version number 2019 - 15.0.1.54391 with an OK button.

  • I have encountered the same problem with Widgets from 2017 through 2021! The only properly functioning version was that of 2015. I would very much like to use this fast lookup utility, but what it (2021) does is this: First I doubleclick on the icon (no reaction), so I always have to do this twice. After selcting the languages and 1 or 2 termbases (which function properly in MultiTerm and the TermViewer of Studio 2021), I type a term, click "search" and the Widget window disappears and does not come back. Strange enough, if I do NOT type any term at all in the term field and click on search, the Widget shows me the first 20 or so terms of the selected TermBase, but this, of course, is of no avail. Obviously, I have tried more than once and reinstalled it, but the result has always been the same - by the way on both my PCs running under Win 10.

This is the present version I installed: SDLMultiTermWidget2021SR1_16.1.1.541.exe

Is there any way to go back to Widget 2015? I'd reinstall this one, but where can I still find it on the SDL webiste?
