Multiterm 2019 - Cannot save entry

I created a Termbase on SDL Multiterm 2019 and wanted to add a term that is the same in English and the target language (Portuguese). The reason I wanted to create it is that it's a 3-word name of a product, with Trademark symbol, etc so I thought that, by creating an entry in a Termbase, it would help me to type it faster and prevent errors. However, when I try to add it, I get the following message:

Cannot save entry. Equal synonyms in the same index within the same entry are not allowed.

And there's nothing else I can do. Is that really a limitation or am I doing something wrong.

TIA

  • Paul,

No, that was the first term added to the TB right after I created it. Just to make sure, I checked and it doesn't exist. After my question, I found a way to trick Multiterm and, when adding the term in Portuguese, I included a space at the end of it (to make it different from the source term). It accepted it but still not worked, so I checked the TB in detail (something I didn't have time yesterday) and noticed that the source language was missing (not sure why, as I added both). I deleted the TB and created a new one and this time it worked fine, didn't need to trick it. Thank you for the help anyway, I really appreciate that.
