Multiterm 2021 SR1

Hallo zusammen,

erneut Schwierigkeiten in Multiterm, diesmal:

Import von XML-Datei wird vollständig eingelesen(Anzahlt wird im Popup-Fenster bestätigt). Im Ansichtsmodus nur ein kleiner Teil angezeigt.
Doppelte Einträge lassen sich weder suchen und noch löschen.

    1. Is this problem occurring with any termbase? If yes, proceed with step 2 below.

    If no, download the Glossary Converter app (via your Add-Ins tab in Studio or here) then use it to export your termbase to Excel (.xlsx). Here is a video that explains how to use it:

    Then you can see if it opens successfully in Microsoft Office Excel (or equivalent spreadsheet program) and check it. It may be enough to simply reimport it via Glossary Converter to a new termbase (.sdltb) and see if that one works better.

    2. Have you checked that MultiTerm AND Studio are both up-to-date? They need to be up-to-date with each other to function properly.

    You can do this via the Help tab in both programs.

    3. Have you run a Windows Repair on each program? Sometimes Windows updates can cause problems and the Windows Repair functionality is designed to correct such problems.

    Here is how:

    1. Close all SDL applications.
    2. Open the Control Panel:
      • Windows Vista/7: Start > Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features.
      • Windows 8: Right-click on the screen at bottom-left corner and choose Control Panel > Uninstall a Program.
      • Windows 10: Right-click on Start > Control Panel > Select View by: Small Icons > Programs and Features
      • - or type 'Control Panel' in the search line on your bottom Windows toolbar.
    3. Click/highlight the relevant SDL product from the list (e.g. SDL Trados Studio 2021 etc) and click 'Uninstall/Change' either on the top toolbar or on the right-click dropdown menu (or just 'Repair' for MultiTerm), then select > Yes > Repair. Allow it to run. This will take longer for Studio than for the 3 main components of MultiTerm. Do NOT repair 'Remove suite of products' entries. These are only for uninstalling.
    4. Restart Studio/MultiTerm.

  • Schön, dass ich hier noch Vorschläge erhalte. 

    Alle Punkte bis Punkt 3 waren von mir bereits umgesetzt. Es geht hier ausschließlich um Anwendung im Mulititerm selbst. Dort gibt es offensichtlich diverse Bugs. 

    Zum Punkt 3 ist noch folgendes zu sagen: Mir wird dort nur die Möglichkeit zu Deistallation angezeigt, somit keine Chance zu Bereinigung von Daten.

    Was ist zu tun?
