Im wondering here whether you are using a high resolution screen?

Normally in such cases, everything would appear cramped rather than 'cropped'.

I would perhaps suggest using the following app to see if this helps

If not- please try and repair Multiterm

Hi, yes my screen is 2560×1440 so somewhat high resolution I guess.

Nothing appears cramped in any SDL applications though, and nowhere else do I have a similar issue.

I tried the "change scaling behaviour" and applied it to MultiTerm 2021, no difference.

Then I tried "repairing", also no difference, not even reinstalling made a difference there.

So, no change.

Maybe scaling is set in Windows for that monitor. Somethign to check.

I checked this too, and it doesn't affect it, alas.

As this only affects MultiTerm, I'm wondering if you are using multiple screens.

Hey, I have the exact same issue with Multiterm v.17.0.0.1685 on Windows 11! I tried resizing my screen resolution, but it didn't work. I even managed to resize the window of the dialog box by changing its display scaling, but the cropped part remained cropped even in a very wide window. Did it get fixed for you? If so, do you remember how?

I have the same version of Multiterm installed on a second computer and it runs properly there, but on Windows 10. Is the Windows 11 on my first computer the problem? I also tried to reinstall the software several times, and tested different versions. None would work properly.

Any help from anyone reading this would be much appreciated. The problem is very annoying indeed

I eventually solved it by resetting the screen scaling ("Change size for text, apps and other objects" or something like that) from 125% to 100%:
ms-settings:easeofaccess-display?activationSource=SMC-Article-27928

I sort of forgot about this since RWS never got back to me (see above), so I hope they can use this info to finally fix this annoying bug.
