Dialog box cropped in termbase wizard in MultiTerm 2021

This is a very annoying problem when setting up a new termbase in MultiTerm:
the wizard dialog is cropped and there is no way to reach the settings etc. in the cropped off parts, not even Tab works:

Screenshot of Trados Studio's MultiTerm Wizard dialog cropped at the bottom, making the 'Use an existing termbase as a template' option unusable. (bottom option "Use an existing termbase as a template" unusable)

Screenshot of Trados Studio's MultiTerm Wizard Step 2 with visible fields for 'Termbase Name' and 'Description', but right side fields are cropped. (note cropped fields on right)

Screenshot of Trados Studio's MultiTerm Wizard Step 3 showing 'Language Fields' section with cropped fields on the right side. (cropped stuff at bottom unreachable, "Sort order"?)

Screenshot of Trados Studio's MultiTerm Wizard Step 4 with 'Descriptive Fields' section, but the bottom 'Field settings' option is cropped and unreachable. (more cropped fields)

Screenshot of Trados Studio's MultiTerm Wizard Step 5 showing 'Entry Structure' with cropped fields on the right and bottom, making some options inaccessible. ("Field settings" unreachable at bottom)

There is no way to resize it, which shouldn't really be necessary since the contents are known (and very spread out, for no apparent reason). Also, it doesn't help creating it and then trying to edit the definition later – that dialog has the exact same issues.

I'm using MultiTerm 2021 SR1 - 16.1.1.541 on Windows 10 Pro (20H2 19042.1052).

  • Hey, I have the exact same issue with Multiterm v.17.0.0.1685 on Windows 11! I tried resizing my screen resolution, but it didn't work. I even managed to resize the window of the dialog box by changing its display scaling, but the cropped part remained cropped even in a very wide window. Did it get fixed for you? If so, do you remember how?

I have the same version of Multiterm installed on a second computer and it runs properly there, but on Windows 10. Is the Windows 11 on my first computer the problem? I also tried to reinstall the software several times, and tested different versions. None would work properly.

Any help from anyone reading this would be much appreciated. The problem is very annoying indeed
