Can't add new terms while translating

Hi There,

It's been a while that I can't add any new entry/terms in my Termbase.

Error dialog box with a red cross icon, titled 'Erreur'. Message reads 'MultiTerm ne peut pas ajouter la fiche.' with buttons for 'Base de connaissances' and 'Communaute' and an 'OK' button.

SDL Multiterm 2021 version is 16.1.1.541

SDL Trados Studio 2021 SR1 - 16.1.6.4276

error message as below but I don't know how to fix it.

  • I have the exact same problem. Is it possible to get a more exhaustive answer? Some terms will be added, some won't. I can't make out the discriminating factor. I'm adding terms while translating. I've tried, but have never been interested in using the widget, so it's multiterm running within the studio application.

I can't in any way risk to lose terms from this term base, so trying the solution that has been suggested is out of question.

I've been working for more than ten years with studio and there have never been any major issues. Now it's been two or three years that really systemic issues arise. They pop up quite frequently and seem to go deep into the software structure. Is this due to the invention of expensive support contracts? It's a big nuisance and will probably be my main reason for switching to a different software sooner or later including alerting colleagues not to buy a trados license in the future.
