Multiterm Help is not working

Wherever I am in Multiterm, clicking a Help button or hitting F1 tries to take me to a non-existent URL.

E.g., if I'm in the Edit screen, hitting F1 takes me to https://docs.rws.com/796827/796853/, which in turn brings up a 404 Not found message.

Are others having this problem, or it just me?

  • Thanks for reporting this.  It's not just the F1... simply using the Help button in the ribbon does the same thing.  I'm sure easily resolvable in due course.

Obviously, if SDL (or RWS or Trados, or whatever they're calling themselves this week) have moved their help pages without without bothering to update the software that uses those pages, and without bothering to set up a redirect from the old to the new URLs, then the help isn't going to work.

Obviously if this is the problem we'll resolve it.  You have no idea how complicated these name changes were!

Whatever we're calling ourselves this week?  I didn't realise we'd made that many changes.  Trados were purchased in 2005 the year before I joined and until last year we've been SDL my entire career.  Last year we were purchased by RWS s obviously couldn't be SDL anymore, not even for you, so we decided to go back to well known product names across the board.  Hopefully Trados will be easy for everyone.
