I have a termbase that includes certain text fields specified as "Multi" as the "Forbidden Translation" field shown in the image below.
When I drag it to Glossary Converter, the Excel file generated treated it as follows, using "/" to seperate them:
Then, when I drag the Excel file to Glossary Converter again, the .sdltb file generated treated same as in Excel file, keep the multi forbidden entries in one line with "/" in-between.
My question is, how can I revert it back to sdltb but making the forbidden entries same as it was before, with different entries list seperately?
Thank you.
Hi Jie,
The latest version of the Glossary Converter (6.2) addresses this issue. While the app store has problems, you can get it here: https://www.cerebus.de/glossaryconverter.
In the spreadsheet settings, set the Multi field mode to "Multiple Fields"
Your excel should then look like this:
and convert back with two fields, like in the original termbase
