Target segment does not contain the translated term for "source term" - "target term" expected.

When there are more than one occurrence of a term in the source string, even there equal number of occurrences of target term in the target, I always get this QA error.

Anyone know how to get rid of this error?

I am using the latest version of Studio 2022.

My settings:

Trados Studio verification settings window showing options for term verification with checkboxes for non-usage of target terms, forbidden terms, and terms without target equivalent all set to error.

Thank you,

Truc

Thanks for the sample.  I don't really get consistent enough results to be able to prove it's exactly the problem you have found.  I do think there is a problem though... for example:

Screenshot showing the results of a QA check in the Studio Editor

    I tested three scenarios:

    • Same source – same target
      - I get one QA error in segment #2
      - I would have expected #2 and #3 to flag an error
    • Single source – multiple target
      - No errors reported
    • Multiple source – single target
      - No errors reported

I put my test project here if you want to check?
