My recently purchaded version of Trados Studio 2024 is facing problems. When trying to install the MultiTermDesktop 2024, I got notification by my anti-virus-programme that it's infested with IDP.Generic and has been moved to quarantine.
I can't install MultiTermDekstop 2024 now. Can you help pleaseP Thanks, Sven
It is indeed extremely unlikely that the official distribution is infected with a virus. As AI said, it is far more likely that your AV software (which?) throws a false positive. Also, (tens of?) thousands of users will have installed this software in the course of the last 48 hours. If there was a virus, this forum would be absolutely brimming with reports.

That is as may be, but I received the same warning from my AV software, which immediately quarantained IDP.generic. So although I agree it would be unlikely that the update contains a virus, there is apparently something about IDP.generic that triggers an alarm. The issue seems to be resolved now, by the way.
