Multiterm in Trados Team: difference between singular and plural

We swithed from Trados Studio to Trados Team.
I have noticed that Multiterm does not recognise a word based on the grammatical number.
Say the word" job" is in my Multiterm. When translating a text containing the prural of that word (jobs), Multiterm does not show the singular in the Lookup pane.
That is very inconvenient.
Does anybody know how to solve this problem ?

"Question improvement suggestion": Please provide the version of Trados Team and MultiTerm you are using. Also, it would be helpful if you could share any error messages you've encountered, if any.

In the meantime, based on the information you have provided, here is a suggested answer to your question:

    Hello,

It seems like you're experiencing an issue with MultiTerm not recognizing the grammatical number of words in Trados Team. This is a known limitation of the software, as it doesn't automatically recognize different forms of a word unless they are specifically added to the termbase.

Here are a couple of potential solutions:

    1. Manually add the different forms of the word to your termbase. This can be time-consuming, especially for languages with many word forms, but it will ensure that MultiTerm recognizes all forms of the word.

    2. Consider using the Language Cloud terminology instead of MultiTerm. The Language Cloud has a "Linguistic Search" option that can retrieve all terms based on a word's stem or root, providing the perfect or nearest match first. This might be more effective at recognizing different forms of a word.

    3. Try working with the Trados Copilot AI Assistant using the OpenAI Provider for Trados. This AI tool can work with the terms in your termbase and may do a better job of ensuring you get the correct form for your translation, even if it's not actually in your termbase.

Remember to always check for updates within the application to ensure you have the latest features and improvements.
