Hi all, this is my first time using SDL Trados 2015. I want to create termbase, but I always get this error message : Multiterm is unable to create termbase. I already check all the help and support and do the suggestions, such as installing Service pack 1 for Windows 7 and install updates of Microsoft C++ 2005 and 2008. But still I get the same result. Can anyone help me? Also, after I installed the service pack 1, the computer details does not change. Thank you for the help.

Hi Lucy,
It sounds as though you may have a couple of instances of MultiTerm running already, and maybe the database is locked. Can you make sure that you have nothing running before you try this. So open the windows task manager and make sure you close all instancaes of MultiTerm, and Studio, that are running in the background. So stop these processes:
Then try again. If the problem still occurs rename these folders (just add an underscore to the end... doesn't matter what you call it) and restart Studio and MultiTerm and try again:
c:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Roaming\SDL\SDL MultiTerm\MultiTerm12
c:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Roaming\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\12.0.0.0
