I have 10,000 units, still can't generate a dictionary...

Question

Hi- I'm trying to generate a new dictionary (for the first time trying to use this feature), and get the "a translation memory must have at least 10,000 units" - however, in the TM I'm trying to use there are over 10,000 units!!! Does anybody know what I might be doing wrong?

Hello Halli, 
 
First of all what version of Studio are you using, and second if you are using Freelance did you purchase the AutoSuggest Dictionary Creator license? 
 
These two questions are important because if you don't have Professional or this addon license then you cannot generate an AutoSuggest Dictionary at all. The command will be greyed out. And if you have Studio 2015 then it's debatable whether you even need to do this as the AutoSuggest feature in Studio 2015 can use your TMs to provide subsegment suggestions based on fuzzy and concordance matching. many users find this is enough.

May not be as good as it gets... there is a bit of fine tuning you can do in the AutoSuggest settings, but seeing as you have everything perhaps it would be worth looking at your TM to see why you cannot generate the dictionary and get that message when you say you have over 10,000 TUs.. Can you share it?
