Help defining XML Parser with length restrictions

Question

Hi, 
 I am new to XML parser rules and XPath, so sorry in advance if my question is to obvious. I have read many threads and tried different XPath expressions but no luck so far. 
 I need to define XML Parser rules for a file with elements that should have two different length restrictions:

All Entry subelements of Record elements that contain the "CMSPLAINTEXT" value should not exceed 35 characters (and should ideally be shown with bolds or in another color in order to be easily differentiated) 
 All E ntry subelements of Record elements that contain the "CMSTEXT" value should not exceed 115 characters 
 
 Do you have any suggestions on how show I define my Parser rules?

Hi Ana, 
 You need to set up your parser rules to check if the @RecordID attribute contains the text "CMSLAINTEXT" or "CMSTEXT" and set the Max length value accordingly. 
 These should do the trick:
