Translation of Cosima-based xml files using special sdl settings for customer

Hello Community,

Several years now we have translated Cosima-based xml files for one of our customers.

We have created special sdl filetype settings for Trados Studio that display and process the entities correctly.

Now the customer has another request. Certain texts in headings such as "Antriebsriemen ausbauen" are provided with an info in a separate tag, as it can be singular or plural. At present the translator cannot view this information required for a correct rendering in the Trados Editor. We would now have to adapt our settings file to ensure it will be visible, if possible.

Do you have an idea or suggestion how to handle this "problem"?
If you are familiar with the problem (creating special sdl filetype settings, defining entities etc.), we can of course also provide sample files.

If you have any questions or ideas you are welcome to contact me (translation@konzept-info.de).
Of course you can also send us your contact details so that we can get in touch with you directly.

Best regards
