Studio 2017: Customized "ALT" keyboard shortcuts do not work

I customized a few keyboard shortcuts using "ALT" combinations, but even though they appear in my keyboard shortcuts list, they do not work. (This was working fine for me in Studio 2014.)

  • There is a dedicated search for source and for target. Per default CTRL+F3 searches source, CTRL+SHIFT+F3 does search target (AFAIR). If your shortcut does not work, please check, if there isn't any other software using it on your computer - as for example the graphics card or similar.
ALT+UP does work for source concordance in my case, so does CTRL+F3 and many others. For example I use CTRL+ALT+RIGHT (LEFT) for placing tags and it works too. So the reason for not working shortcut must be either a conflict within Studio (which is not likely, as in most cases the program will warn you, that the shortcut you want assign is already in use) or with another software in Windows.
Or do you work in Parallels?
