TM not updating when confirming MT segment

This isn't happening to me, but I saw it today on a colleague's computer, with SDL Language Cloud in Swedish-English. If she uses an MT hit and then confirms the segment, the TU is not saved to the TM.

I'm curious, as this has never happened to me and it kept happening to her, even though we have the same settings (except for the language combination). Does someone know what could be causing this? Could it be related to the language combination?

    That may be worth trying, although I think it was a brand new TM. It was empty until we imported the SDLXLIFF into it (she hadn't checked the update box while working). Then, once the TM was populated we used it to pre-translate a revised version of the file she'd gotten from her client, using that TM + Language Cloud; after opening that new file, she realized that some things she'd had in the original SDLXLIFF and which had been confirmed didn't make it into the TM and therefore were missing in the new SDLXLIFF even though they should have been CMs. Then we tried changing all the project statuses in the original SDLXLIFF to translated and updating the TM, which didn't make a difference. When getting to segments that should have been populated in the new SDLXLIFF, there was nothing in the TM, and when she accepted one of the several (at least two) MT hits and confirmed the segment, the Translation Results window continued to show the AT results, even when changing to a different segment and getting back to the one that had just been confirmed. Oh and I just remembered something else that was odd: after clearing a segment where she had just confirmed an MT hit that wasn't showing as 100% in the Translation Results window, if she started typing the translation she would get 100% AutoSuggest hits from the TM, as if the translation were indeed saved somewhere, but definitely not showing in the Translation Results window, which continued to show the MT results. Very strange.
