Keyboard shortcuts not working

Question

SDL Trados Studio 2017 - for some unknown reason almost all my keyboard shortcuts (default) have stopped working. Has anyone encountered the same problem and know of a solution?

Not one I've come across before... maybe try a reset? Rename this folder (just add _old to the end or something, it's not important what you rename it to) and restart Studio: 
 
c:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Roaming\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\14.0.0.0

CTRL+F and CTRL+H do work without any problem on all my systems. So the problem is local and connected to your machine. 
To avoid problems, go to View and use "Reset window layout". If still not working, use the tips from here gateway.sdl.com/.../communityknowledge to reset your Studio. 
And - most important - make sure, your cursor is in a target segment, when calling this function. If the cursor is elsewhere, both shortcuts do nothing.

 I have tried to replicate the issue you have but have been unable to do so far 
 
 Are you using a PC or MAC (with VM?) 
 
 Maybe try logging out of your account, then reset the keyboard shortcuts to the default settings and then reassigning the desired shortcut(s). 
 If this shortcut is already assigned to something else, then Studio will not allow you (duplicate shortcuts) to do this. 
 If the problem still persists, then possibly this specific shortcut is in conflict with another program on your system. 
 Do you have another keyboard you can test?
