Can I create a simple QA rule that verifies a source term is carried over to the target side correctly?

Dear Studio 2017 users,

I am working on a big project where a two-word proper name (let's assume it's Abcdeft Mstseterper) appears frequently and should stay in English for the target translation.  Is there a way to create a rule in Studio that would give me a warning whenever "Abcdeft Mstseterper" is spelled incorrectly in a given target segment?

Thank you so much for your advice!

  • Hi Nora,

Thank you so much for showing me how to add a rule to check the term. I just created the rule, but for some reason this regex rule is not saved. After I left the Regular Expressions page and went back to Studio Editor to test the functionality, I found no error was reported when the term is misspelled. Then I went back to the Regular Expressions page, only to find the rule I had created is gone!
Did I do something wrong? I would really like this to work because there is another thing I need to check and the QA rule seems perfect for it.
Thank you for your kind help!
